I liked the book, I am just not as interested in talismans as I thought I would be. Perhaps someone with more knowledge and background would appreciate it more....

The story bounces between recent time and 1978, but it's not hard to follow. The second part is slow-moving for about half of it. All this being said, I still love the series and love the characters, and I am sure I will buy the next book as soon as it comes out. That might actually be good to have in the idea bank.
