The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is quite subjective: I was not wholly at home with the tone; the relationship between the main character and her husband made me uneasy, mostly because of the depth of his anger and hatred toward Cindy Ann was so destructive. I have not looked at the DVD that shows the assessments in action, but will do so soon.
