I was dissapointed as it was needlessly long in some portions of the story where I found myself skipping through much of it as it didn't really add that much. Yet the boy's body was never found and Calliope's unrelenting silence on the subject forced a judge to jail her for contempt. Excellent book, thank you. The aim of our publishing program is to facilitate rapid access to this vast reservoir of literature, and our view is that this is a significant literary work, which deserves to be brought back into print after many decades. The stories are about kindness and friendship and helpfulness in a world where our little ones learn too soon that people and situations are not always kind or friendly or helpful.
